Numerous people have linked to this post by Charlie Hoehn, but I also enjoyed it so much that I had to link to it too.

It’s a great post.  It moves away from the idea that you have to have some set path for yourself with 5 year/10 year/30 year plans for life.  And, it leaves no excuses for not going out there and doing something.

Another great post I came across was How to Be Awesome by Chris Guillebeau.   Great because it points to taking action and responsibility, and actually puts into words and ideas what it means to be awesome, instead of some amorphous concept that being awesome means being famous or writing a bestselling book or ruling the universe.
